CVM Solutions, LLC (CVM) is the leading provider of supplier management solutions; with clients such as Proctor & Gamble, Dell, Inc., Colgate-Palmolive and Delta Airlines. CVM’s vision is to provide customers with the technology, data and managed services required to make informed corporate-wide decisions about their suppliers.

At the center of CVM’s business model is their ability to train customers on supplier management. In order to more efficiently deliver this training to a globally diverse audience on an as-needed basis, CVM wanted to implement an eLearning course for their customers and distribute this through a Learning Management System (LMS). For the customer, CVM wanted an easy-to-use eLearning experience that explains the supplier management program and how to use the system. Additionally, CVM required a site that would allow for customization to tailor the login screen and course banners to reflect their various customers.

THE SOLUTION

CVM Solutions found just what they were looking for in the Knowledge Direct® Learning Management System (LMS) powered by Digitec. Within one week of choosing Knowledge Direct, CVM’s new eLearning portal was up and ready for their first customer deployment.

Digitec’s eLearning Services team designed and developed the Flash-based eLearning course for their Supplier Central eLearning portal. The eLearning portal features 4 modules on supplier management: Vendor Central, Diversity Central, Risk Central and Performance Central.

Knowledge Direct’s hands-free administration features include: built-in student registration and assessment tools, built-in Help and Contact Support, automatic email triggers to remind users of courses or deadlines, automatic email acknowledgement of course completions and robust web-based reporting for courses accessed make it easy for CVM to manage the courses.

Knowledge Direct also generates custom URLs to provide a company-branded login for each client and enables CVM to create and assign a company administrator who has access to the student reporting for that company.

THE RESULT

By utilizing Digitec’s Knowledge Direct LMS, CVM is able to:

• Launch a more flexible, more consistent eLearning training option for their customers.

• Provide student registration.

• Deliver online courses and track usage and course completions.

• Customize login screens and course banners to specific customers.
